On behalf of the staff of Gwyn-Nor Elementary School, welcome back or perhaps welcome to our learning community for the first time!  Our school team is very much looking forward to working with you and your child.  We applaud the accomplishments and achievements of your student during  the 2024-2025 school year and look forward to continued success in 2025-2026.  As partners in your student’s education, we appreciate your many efforts last school year in unique roles at home.  We look forward to your help this year, whether as volunteers for special events and activities or contributors of materials and resources that support the programs and activities offered and experienced by our students.

As we anticipate next school year, we know that students like to personalize their supplies and belongings by having special folders and favorite colors of pens and pencils.  With this in mind, the elementary staff has created grade-level lists of necessary supplies for families to purchase for the start and as needed throughout the school year.  If assistance is needed in obtaining any of the supplies, please contact the school counselor, Jeanine McGovern or me.  

PLEASE NOTE THAT EACH ITEM MUST BE LABELED WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME.  As such, be sure to take items out of the original packaging and use a Sharpie to write your child’s name on each individual item. 

In addition to personal supplies, general classroom supplies such as tissues, wipes, etc. are needed throughout the school year.  Individual classroom teachers will be sharing information and requesting voluntary donations of specific supplies as needs arise.
