The Office of School and Community Engagement

Family and Community Involvement

North Penn School District is committed to developing strong partnerships with all stakeholders including families, staff, community members and business leaders in order to improve and enhance student achievement. District leaders recognize, respect and encourage all participants to become involved in activities and decisions made for and on behalf of our students. The Office of School and Community Engagement will assist in promoting this philosophy of collaborative partnerships where engagement and shared responsibility are encouraged. Questions related to this initiative should be directed to 215-853-1020.

Acting as the District's Voice

In many ways, the school/community engagement office is the district's voice to the media, the community and the world. Whether it's communicating with the local media about our wonderful schools, students and teachers, or disseminating information in the event of an emergency, the school/community engagement office keeps the community informed.

Communications and News

The school/community engagement office is the media's first point of contact. In addition to responding to press requests, the office also writes and distributes press releases and news articles promoting the excellent education the district provides, special events and accomplishments of our students and staff.

The office also creates several publications to disseminate information to district residents and parents. This includes the district activities calendar, annual report, back-to-school newsletters, curriculum guides, program of studies booklets and much more.
