North Penn Students Perform in All-State Ensembles

North Penn School District (NPSD) music students successfully auditioned for the All-State music ensembles, honor ensembles hosted by the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA). 


North Penn High School (NPHS) student Kaitlyln Cho will play viola with the All-State Orchestra. NPHS students William Bernal, Aaron Kershner, Ethan Butler, and Logan Bigelow will perform with the All-State concert band. Noah Fillgrove will play with the All-State Wind Ensemble, and Sean Peters will perform with the All-State Jazz Ensemble. NPHS students Sarah Heath and Ethan Kwon will perform with the All-State Chorus.


To audition for these prestigious ensembles, students had to submit recordings alongside their peers from across the state. The best performers from schools across Pennsylvania were selected to join the All-State ensembles. 


Performances will be held at the Warner Theatre in Erie. All-State A Cappella and Jazz Ensembles will perform Friday, April 19, 2024 at 7:30 pm. All-State Orchestra and Band will perform Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 11 am. All-State Wind Ensemble and Chorus will perform Saturday, April, 20, 2024 at 4 pm. Tickets can be purchased here.  


PMEA is a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the musical development of all Pennsylvanians.
