Tax payments as well as requests for tax certifications may be placed in a sealed envelope and dropped into a locked box outside the Montgomery Township Police Department (1001 Stump Road) at any time. Enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope and a receipt will be mailed to you.
CASH PAYMENTS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.
The Tax Office will be closed the weeks of July 5th and October 5th.

Summer phone hours are 9 am to noon on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays until August 21st. As of August 25th, phone hours will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 3:30 pm.

The address to mail your tax payments, tax certification requests, etc. is: PO Box 690, Montgomeryville, PA 18936. PLEASE WRITE YOUR PHONE NUMBER ON YOUR PAYMENT SO I CAN REACH YOU IF YOUR PAYMENT HAS AN ERROR. Overnight (Fed Ex, UPS etc.) can be sent to 1001 Stump Road, Montgomeryville, PA 18936. Include a self-addressed stamped envelope.

You will need to know your parcel number, the exact amount of tax payment and the type of taxes you will be paying.

NO CASH PAYMENTS ARE ACCEPTED
After December 15th, the current year taxes are payable ONLY BY Cashier's Checks and Money Orders (Direct funds must be available immediately with no need to deposit a check and wait for a check to clear.) This means no online bank payments direct from your personal bank account. You must physically obtain the Bank/Cashier's check or money orders.
